Professionally, I train people to train their dogs, I hold formal credentials that allow me to conduct testing required for advanced certifications, and I make community outreach visits with my own dog Jasper here in western Wayne County Michigan.

My husband (and business partner) Dell likes to tell his story about a time when someone said The Ten Commandments were sent down by God to spoil all the fun for everyone.

Clear rules help us know what to expect and give us wonderful guides to accomplishing great things, and they help keep people from getting in over their heads. They are the foundation for positive relationships.
That makes things more fulfilling. That makes such guardrails a truly loving gift from Him to all of us.
I agree. And, since we’re focused on dogs here, I will add that dogs agree, too — or at least they’d like to agree.
If you speak their language, you can ask them and they will tell you that. In fact, they’d love nothing more than for you to know what sorts of work best suits them, which job you should pick for them from that list, and to live out their lives with you in that sort of positive relationship.
